About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, therapy, and consultation services for students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication development and academic success.

Job Duties

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, and related needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across assigned grade levels
• Complete assessments, evaluations, progress reports, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Provide evidence-based interventions targeting articulation, language development, fluency, social communication, and other areas of need
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Support inclusive learning environments that encourage student growth and independence
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure students receive appropriate services and accommodations

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure through the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB)
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or completion of required Clinical Fellowship requirements
• Completion of required supervised clinical experience
• California Department of Education Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential preferred or required based on assignment
• Knowledge of IDEA, special education compliance requirements, and school-based service delivery models
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to effectively support students with diverse communication needs
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
