Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN First Assist for a travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. This role supports an OR with orthopedic, general, gynecology, pediatric, and eye surgeries.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years OR experience; travel experience is a plus. Schedule is 40 hours per week, dayshift, with start on 11/09/2026 and duration of 13 weeks. Scrub experience is preferred for RN candidates.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience; travel experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support high-volume orthopedic, general, gynecology, pediatric, and eye surgeries.
• Scrub RN preferred for eligible candidates.
• Participate in on-call rotations with a 30-minute response time.
• Work holidays only in emergencies.
