Job summary
American Traveler seeks an RN Perioperative Circulator for an Adult Surgery unit in Oklahoma City. Requires at least 1 year of acute OR experience and an Oklahoma RN license (compact license acceptable). Must have BLS and be prepared for travel assignments.
Responsibilities include direct/indirect perioperative nursing care, night shift 8-hour shifts, and 40 hours weekly. Extensions limited; candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (OK or eNLC)
- Current BLS from American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute OR
- Knowledge of perioperative nursing practices
- CNOR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Care for patients in adult surgery in OR setting
- Plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate perioperative nursing care
- Adapt care to patient health, age, and procedure type
- Document nursing process and outcomes
- Meet onboarding, background check and drug screening requirements
- Travelers must be booked 4 weeks prior to start date
- Compliance with facility deadlines and protocols
