Job summary

Responsibilities include delivering safe nursing care, administering medications, educating patients and families, and assisting physicians with procedures. Requires an Associate degree, RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/TNCC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use abstract reasoning to assess patients and revise plans based on outcomes.
• Basic computer skills; navigate Windows-based programs.
• Fluent in English (reading, verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Provide education to patients and families from admission to discharge, including care plans and discharge instructions.
• Administer medications accurately as ordered and respond to code situations.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures and manage admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Verify and sign physician orders and obtain lab specimens as needed.
• Evaluate nursing care plans to ensure quality and safety.
