Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a travel assignment in Pleasanton, California. The role supports the surgical team by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting with procedures during 12-hour evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical procedures, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and assist with instrument transfer.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and assist with procedures.
• Perform surgical counts and ensure room turnover and safety throughout the case.
• Communicate potential safety concerns to the team and support age-appropriate care.
