Job Description

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN), you will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Preoperative Preparation

• Assess patients' medical histories and current conditions to develop individualized preoperative care plans.
• Verify surgical consent, review medications, and prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgery.

Intraoperative Nursing Care

• Prepare the operating room environment, ensuring sterile conditions and proper functioning of equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning, monitor vital signs, and support anesthesia induction and maintenance.

Surgical Assistance and Instrumentation
