American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN in the Operating Room to work in San Angelo, Texas. This assignment offers 40 hours per week on a 4x10 hour schedule, with days and rotating shifts; start date 01/12/2026 for 13 weeks.

TX or compact RN license required; travel experience preferred. The role involves circulating and scrubbing across general, neuro, ortho, trauma and robotics cases in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license.
• Five years of OR RN experience preferred; strong specialty experience will be considered.
• Experience in general, neuro, ortho, trauma, or robotics surgery required.
• Two references from supervisors within the past three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Position located in a hospital-based Operating Room.
• Handles cases in general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics.
• Works a hybrid rotating schedule, alternating between 6:30am-5:00pm and 10:30am-9:00pm (4x10 hour shifts).
• Call and holiday coverage is required.
• Fast-paced and high-acuity surgical setting.
• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing in a variety of complex surgical specialties.
• Must be able to adapt to evolving case mix and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary surgical team.
• Holiday and call coverage are expected and will be assigned as part of the role.
