American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Amarillo, TX. The RN should have at least one year of OR experience and an active TX or compact-state license.

Shifts are four 10-hour days (7:00–17:30) with rotating call days. Pay is weekly at $2,200, plus benefits including insurance, 401(k), and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact-state RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience.
• Circulating and scrubbing experience required.
• Proficiency with EPIC preferred.
• Fluency in English required for job performance.
• Former permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for a wide range of surgical procedures.
• Handle cases across General, Ortho, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Neuro, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, Transplant, Gyn; Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatrics, ENT experience preferred.
• Day shift: four 10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30).
• Rotating call days are required.
• Uses Pyxis medication system and EPIC EMR.
• Scrub attire is provided.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Handles surgical cases including General, Ortho, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Neuro, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, Transplant, and Gyn; Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatrics, and ENT experience preferred
• Day shift, four 10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30)

• Strong organizational, customer service, and follow-through skills expected
