American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The position is 12-hour day shifts in the hospital operating room, with a 36-hour work week and on-call requirements.

Candidates must hold an active OK or compact RN license, ACLS/BLS, and have recent OR RN and travel experience. Epic EMR experience is preferred. Scrubs are provided, and travel/licensure reimbursements plus day-one insurance are included.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with recent travel experience, ACLS/BLS, and an OK or compact license for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7am-7pm, with on-call requirements
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Epic charting system; experience preferred
• Scrubs are provided
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved
• No time off allowed during the first week of orientation
• Scrub attire is provided
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must have a 1 year separation before returning as a traveler
