American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Espanola, New Mexico. Start date 01/19/2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with day shifts and 8-hour blocks.

The role requires at least two years of large OR experience and the ability to scrub for a day shift assignment. The RN will work in the hospital OR, support ortho/EENT/vascular cases, and coordinate perioperative care with the team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license from NM or Compact state.
• Minimum 2 years of large OR experience.
• Ability to perform scrub duties.

Responsibilities

• Work in the operating room within a hospital setting.
• Surgeon coordination and patient care in OR.
• Scrub for ortho, EENT, and vascular cases.
• Provide perioperative nursing care from assessment to documentation.
• Supervise LPNs and unlicensed personnel.
• On-call and weekend requirements as discussed.
• Floating between departments within 20 miles.
• Follow facility attire and scrub color rules.
