Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN with Oncology specialty for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role requires ONC certification, an active RN license (NC or compact), and night-shift availability on a 12-hour schedule for 36 hours per week.

The position offers travel compensation, benefits starting day one, and a tax-free stipend; housing is not included. Prior oncology experience and strong documentation skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact state RN license required.
• ONC certification required for Oncology RNs.
• Minimum 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience.
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required with no expiring within 30 days of assignment.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• Must provide US SSN and date of birth for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in inpatient hospital on the 9K Oncology/Women's unit.
• Care for oncology and women's health patients, including night shifts.
• Provide nursing care to oncology and women's health patients.
• Note: assignment does not include housing expenses.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
