American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg - Oncology RN for a night shift position in Asheville, NC. A valid NC or Compact RN license and 2 years of oncology experience are required.

BLS certification is required, and Chemo/ONC certification is preferred; ONC may be required for Oncology RNs. The role supports a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit with a 26-week assignment, patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5, and Cerner EMR usage.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience in oncology or related field.
• BLS certification required.
• Chemo/ONC certification preferred; ONC required for Oncology RNs per policy.

Responsibilities

• Care for oncology and women's surgical patients on a 24-bed unit.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and orders.
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM; 26-week assignment.
• Rarely float to other med-surg units; may participate in occasional pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis.
