Qualifications

• Current RN license in state practicing.
• One (1) year of oncology nursing preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, implement and document nursing care for oncology patients.
• Assist with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of cancer treatments in hospital settings.
• In outpatient care centers, assist with chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring vitals, side effects and pain.
