Job summary

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Oncology RN for a 13-week assignment in Urbana, IL. The role requires at least three years of oncology nursing experience, BSN or ASN, and a valid Illinois RN license. Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
• Passion for Oncology.
• Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
• Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.

• Critical thinking skills using independent judgement in making decisions.
• Maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• The Procedural Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the practice of nursing.
• Provides healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
• Provides and coordinates care with patients and families.
• Documents care accurately and completely.
• Educates patients on health and wellness.
• Acts as a preceptor and supports staff development and students.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives in care delivery.
