Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology Acute Care RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. Start: 01/05/2026; 36 hours/week on a 12-hour night shift. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

The unit handles IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy; IL RN license required; BLS and ONCC chemotherapy/immunotherapy credentials preferred. Epic Beacon EMR is used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience, preferably in oncology or acute care.
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
• Experience administering IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy, including handling precautions.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Oncology Acute unit within an acute care hospital setting.
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy with monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with RT and care team; use Epic Beacon EMR for documentation.
• Support 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend/holiday coverage.
• Floors include nurse-patient ratios of 1:5–1:6 depending on census.
