Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Oncology position requiring an IL RN license and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• This position is in a hospital setting on a dedicated oncology unit
• Care for adult oncology patients within a Level 1 Trauma environment
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities are required
• EPIC charting system is used and experience is required
• Floating may be required within the scope of the unit
• Responsible for comprehensive patient care including assessment, planning, interventions, and documentation
• Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members
• Documentation of care must be current and accurate for effective communication
• Maximum of 7 days for requested time off during the 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not be assigned to this client for more than 1 year continuously and must take a 6-month break before returning
• No travel partner assignments are allowed

Requirements

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated experience in Level 1 Trauma and with EPIC EMR
