Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse to provide direct care to patients in an infusion setting at a partner facility in Lewiston, Maine. You will administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy and IV infusions per protocol and perform patient assessments to monitor treatment response and side effects.

This role requires an active state RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of RN Oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.

Pay: up to $672 – $768 gross pay per shift ; equivalent to $56.00 – $64.00 per hour.

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
