Job summary

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the oncology team in Gold Beach, Oregon. This travel assignment involves working in a new Oncology Center, where the Pharmacy Technician will support pharmacy operations related to oncology services.

The role includes preparing and handling hazardous medications in compliance with USP standards, while collaborating with pharmacists and the oncology care team.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician license
Recent hospital and/or clinical pharmacy experience
Experience with USP hazardous drug handling and compounding
Oncology pharmacy experience in a hospital setting preferred
Compounding chemotherapy and other hazardous medications experience preferred
Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting

Responsibilities

Support oncology pharmacy operations, including the preparation of hazardous medications
Comply with USP standards
Work closely with pharmacists and the oncology care team
