Job summary

Kona Community Hospital in Hawaii seeks an Oncology Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will provide oncology pharmacist services in a 94-bed facility, handling EPIC documentation and Beacon oncology workflows, with shifts 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and potential evenings or weekends.

This temporary role offers weekly pay, comprehensive insurance options, and a 401(k) plan, with the possibility of extension. Must maintain active pharmacist licensure and oncology experience.

Qualifications

Licensed pharmacist in good standing.
Oncology pharmacy experience preferred.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Proficient in EPIC documentation and order management.
Experience with Beacon oncology module preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide pharmacist services in an oncology setting within a hospital.
Work shifts that may include evenings and weekends.
Utilize EPIC for documentation and order management.
Apply Beacon oncology module in daily operations.
Manage and dispense oncology medications per protocols.
Ensure safe and accurate therapy for oncology patients.
Collaborate with oncology teams to optimize regimens.
Adhere to pharmacy regulations and facility policies.
Maintain active licensure and required certifications.
