Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a travel assignment in Westland, Michigan. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and help patients develop daily living skills.

This 13-week travel position requires 1 year OTA experience, BLS, NBCOT (COTA), and state licensure. Expect 35 hours per week, 8-hour days, in a supportive interdisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OTA experience required.
• Current BLS and NBCOT (COTA) certification required.
• State-specific licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT.
• Document patient performance and progress per guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises and mobility training.
• Educate patients and families on independence techniques.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment.
