Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled therapy services in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining daily living skills, utilizing restorative programs, ADL training, and adaptive equipment.

This 13-week assignment offers days, 8-hour shifts, and the chance to float between nearby facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois COTA license.
• BLS certification may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Experience with restorative programs and adaptive equipment preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and document appropriately.

• Participating in float assignments between nearby facilities as needed

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution


• Active Illinois COTA license


• BLS certification (may be required)


• Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred


• Experience with restorative programs and adaptive equipment preferred


• Ability to work collaboratively and document appropriately
