Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. Expect 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift during daytime hours, under OT supervision to support patient rehab across ages.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of OTA experience, current BLS and NBCOT (COTA), and state licensure. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this travel role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OTA experience required.
• Current BLS and NBCOT (COTA) certification required.
• State licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT for treatment plan updates.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately per guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and professional standards.
