Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist to provide skilled OT services across diverse healthcare settings and locations, delivering evaluation, treatment planning, and interventions that promote independence.

You will adapt quickly to new clinical environments, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety and infection-control standards, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting patients and caregivers in daily living activities.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral).
• Current and active Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state.
• Travel or contract healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and OT needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and daily living skills.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and techniques to promote independence.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Adapt to different facilities, patient populations, and assignments.
• Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.

Education

OT degree (Bachelors/Masters/OTD)

Active OT license

Travel/contract healthcare experience preferred

Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills
