Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled OT services across diverse healthcare settings in Oregon and beyond. You will evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and support independence as patients adapt to new clinical environments.

This role requires an active OT license in the applicable state, strong clinical and communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in the applicable state.
• Graduation from an accredited OT program.
• Travel/contract healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and OT needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and daily living skills.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and techniques to promote independence.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Adapt to different facilities, patient populations, and assignments.
• Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
