Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Salinas, CA. You will provide comprehensive, evidence-based interventions to help patients develop, recover, and enhance daily living skills, working across diverse settings.

The OT will evaluate needs, design individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and families on strategies to maximize functional independence.

Qualifications

• Valid OT license per state regulations (California)
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• NBCOT/OTR certification (NBCOT)
• OTA experience welcome; new grads may apply

Responsibilities

• Create personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Deliver individualized OT interventions following the treatment plan.
• Use adaptive techniques and equipment to improve daily living skills.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for holistic care.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols; participate in discharge planning.
