Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Walnut, Illinois. This role features 40 hours per week, a Monday–Friday schedule, and an ASAP start.

You will plan and conduct OT programs in a nursing facility, help patients improve daily living skills, teach adaptive equipment use, and document progress. Candidates must graduate from an accredited OT program, hold a state license, and maintain current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Occupational Therapy license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting individualized occupational therapy programs in a nursing home environment.
• Helping patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
• Teaching patients skills or techniques on how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.
• Studying, evaluating, and recording patients' activities and progress.
