TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Shelton, Connecticut. The role involves 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and requires active CT licensure and NBCOT-OTR certification. New grads welcome with 6 months of experience considered for exceptional candidates; BLS is required.

Qualificações

• At least 6 months of OT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification required and NBCOT-OTR certification.
• State licensing required to practice in CT.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assist patients to perform daily tasks despite disabilities.
• Assess patient home or workplace for improvements.
• Educate family and employers on patient care needs.
• Recommend equipment and instruct on its use.
• Document patient progress for evaluations and billing.
• Provide timely documentation per guidelines.
