Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an Occupational Therapist – General for a 13-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility in Seattle, WA, starting 11/30/2026. The role offers 35 guaranteed hours per week and a 5x8 day shift (08:00–16:30).

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, ADL training, progress notes, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support smooth transitions. Requires active WA OT license and commitment to the 13-week contract.

Qualifications

• Active Washington occupational therapy license.
• Ability to provide occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Willingness to commit to a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 35 hours per week.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of residents’ functional abilities and OT needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Deliver direct OT services including activities of daily living training, range of motion, motor planning, and adaptive equipment coaching.
• Monitor progress, document patient status, and communicate findings to the care team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discharge planning and transitions.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain compliant documentation and regulatory standards.
