Job summary

Preferred Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. This 13-week travel role offers 40 hours per week, with a standard 8-hour shift, to provide therapy and rehabilitation services to patients at the facility.

You will create individualized treatment plans and help patients participate more fully in daily activities. The position requires active OT license, CPR/BLS, and at least 6 months OT experience within the last five years;

Qualifications

• Active state OT license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• 6 months OT experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional needs and set appropriate goals for the patient.
• Reassess patient functional needs and adjust care plan as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document evaluations and occupational therapy treatment goals and plans.
• Utilize resources and materials in an efficient and safe manner.
• Perform all duties promptly in a competent and caring manner.
