Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an Occupational Therapist, General for a travel assignment in Puyallup, Washington. The role is in a long-term care nursing home, starting 11/23/2026 for 13 weeks, with weekly pay between $2,365 and $2,518 and guaranteed 35 hours per week.

The shift runs 08:00–16:30, 5x8 days, and you will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with the care team. Support includes fast credentialing, housing assistance, and ongoing travel support; extension

Qualifications

• Availability to work the stated shift and weekly hours for the duration of the assignment.
• Ability to provide occupational therapy services in a long-term care setting.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for interdisciplinary care.
• Eligible to work in the United States for a travel assignment.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, critical-need environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for residents to determine functional status and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing independence and quality of life.
• Lead and supervise therapy sessions, assist with activities of daily living training, and coordinate therapeutic activities with the care team.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately in the patient record.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social work, and other disciplines to ensure holistic resident care.
• Monitor safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and infection control practices during therapy.
