Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in a healthcare facility. This position involves evaluating and treating general acute care patients with various diagnoses, focusing on activities of daily living (ADL) and upper extremity assessments to improve functional outcomes. The role requires working days with a shift length of 8 hours, supporting inpatient rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric populations.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 10/06/2026 to 01/05/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license; at least 1 year of pediatric and adult patient care experience; recent certification in BLS; experience with acute care, ADL and UE assessments, and charting within electronic documentation systems (preferably Epic).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient occupational therapy, community hospital background, and familiarity with multiple diagnoses including general surgery, ortho surgery, dementia, and falls.
• Additional Information: This position is for evaluation and treatment of general acute care patients, primarily focusing on improving functional independence through ADL and UE assessments. Candidates should be open to a block schedule, including working on holidays as required, with all specific scheduling requests to be communicated upon submission. Candidates are expected to work in a community-based inpatient hospital setting with a total staffed bed capacity of 212, utilizing navy blue scrubs.
