Job Summary

Occupational Therapist Inpatient Springfield, Oregon. The occupational therapist provides individualized care in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting for adults and older adults recovering from neurological, traumatic, spinal cord, and orthopedic conditions. The role supports patients in regaining independence through interdisciplinary collaboration and specialized rehabilitation interventions.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Occupational therapy licensure in Oregon or an interstate compact license recognized by Oregon; at least 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift; 8-hour shifts; minimum 40 hours per week; weekend rotation as needed.
• Additional Information: Caseload of approximately 56 patients. Common diagnoses include stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and polytrauma. The role uses gait-training systems, therapeutic walking equipment, mechanical and overhead lifts, and patient-transfer devices. Flexible team members who collaborate effectively across disciplines are preferred. Business casual, clinic attire, or any scrub color is acceptable.
