Job Summary

Occupational Therapist Inpatient Occupational Therapist position supporting patients across acute care, medical, intensive care, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. The role requires an independent, collaborative professional capable of evaluating and treating adult and geriatric patients with varied diagnoses while managing productivity expectations and changing patient needs.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state license in hand; at least 1 year of experience; acute care experience; ability to evaluate and treat patients across acute care, medical, intensive care, and inpatient rehabilitation settings; experience with acute disorder assessment, chronic disorder assessment, and functional activities.
• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week; rotating weekend coverage approximately every 34 weeks; no on-call requirement.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Patient populations include adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebrovascular accident, surgical and orthopedic conditions, Parkinsons disease, and multiple sclerosis. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary collaboration, independent time management, treatment follow-up, and flexibility to support same-day surgery and emergency department patients as needed. Experience with adult rehabilitation, edema massage, functional splints, kinesiotaping, orthoplast, and static splints is applicable. A collaborative, team-oriented approach is expected.
