Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist to work in Cottonwood, Arizona starting from 07/06/2026. This position lasts for 9 weeks and requires 40 hours of work per week with 8-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and educate families. Required qualifications include NBCOT board certification and at least one year of OT experience. Compensation includes a tax-free stipend based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience required (6 months accepted for exceptional candidates).
• State licensing required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Help people with various disabilities perform tasks.
• Evaluate home/workplace and recommend improvements.
• Educate families and employers on accommodation and care.
• Recommend special equipment and instruct usage.
• Assess and record patient activities and progress.
