Healthforce is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tacoma, WA. Start date December 1, 2026. Work 35 hours per week on a 5x8 schedule (08:00–16:30) in a skilled nursing facility.

You will perform evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans, provide direct therapy, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Weekly pay ranges from $2,276 to $2,309, with housing options and full onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in good standing (state of Washington) or eligibility for licensure.
• Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment.
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for residents in a SNF setting.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and functional independence.
• Provide direct therapy sessions and therapeutic activities, documenting progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to modify goals, discharge plans, and care plans as needed.
• Educate residents and family members on home exercise programs and strategies to promote safety and independence.
• Ensure timely charting, compliance with regulations, and accurate reporting of patient status and progress.
