Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an acute care rehabilitation unit. The position requires GA licensure and a minimum of 18 months of experience, plus current BLS certification. You will work with a diverse patient population and may float to outpatient services.

Day shifts, 40 hours per week, weekends included, no on-call requirements. Benefits include a housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, day-one insurance options, and a generous overall benefits

Qualifications

• Active GA Occupational Therapy license required.
• Minimum 18 months of experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Active license required if applicable.
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services within an acute care rehabilitation setting.
• Treat diverse patient population including stroke, COVID, critical care, oncology, med-surg abdominal, podiatry, total joint, spine, COPD, and CHF cases.
• May float to outpatient services as needed.
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts including weekends, 5x8s totaling 40 hours per week.
• No on-call requirements.
• Weekly billing cycle.
• Free parking available; dress code wine-colored scrubs.
