TotalMed Allied is actively seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fruita, Colorado. The role requires 1 year of OT experience (6 months for exceptional candidates) and current BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensure.

You will evaluate patients, develop plans of care for daily living skills, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an acute care setting. The position offers 40 hours weekly, days shifts, with a travel employment type.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Current BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR certificate with state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care to improve daily living skills.
• Perform home/workplace assessments and recommend adaptations.
• Educate patients' families and employers on care needs and equipment use.
• Document patient progress in a timely and compliant manner.
• Coordinate with physicians and other providers as part of the care team.
