Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Washington, DC. The OT will evaluate patients and develop plans of care to improve daily living skills in the acute care setting.

Must have 6 months of experience, BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing. The role offers 35 hours per week, day shifts, and a tax-free stipend with travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state-specific licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Educate patients' family and employer about accommodations.
• Assess patient home/workplace and identify improvements.
• Provide timely documentation following guidelines.
