Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Acute setting in Minnesota. Requires an active MN OT license and BLS, with 1+ year inpatient hospital experience. Role involves a day shift, 40 hours weekly, EPIC EMR, and potential float to Outpatient.

Qualifications

• Active MN Occupational Therapy license required
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital experience within the past 3 years
• Acute care setting experience preferred
• Willingness to float to Outpatient if needed

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Acute hospital setting with Trauma Level 3 designation
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, no call or weekends
• Therapy caseload typically averages 30-40 patients
• Potential float to Outpatient services
• Cross-train to SNF for intermittent coverage
• EPIC EMR used
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• Evaluate and treat adult patients with diverse diagnoses
• Orientation includes computer-based training and EPIC/department orientation
• Dress code: charcoal scrubs or business casual; other colors allowed
• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Will not work alone during shifts
• Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission

• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hospital experience required within the past 3 years
• Acute care setting experience preferred

• Dress code is charcoal grey scrubs or business casual; alternative scrub colors accepted include ceil blue, khaki, gray, or chocolate brown
• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Will not work alone during shifts
• Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
