Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Active WA OT license required in hand at submission, if applicable.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Experience with modalities such as edema massage, functional splints, orthoplast, static splints, prosthetics/orthotics.
• Kinesiotaping skills preferred.
• IPR (Inpatient Rehabilitation) experience a bonus.
• 2 supervisory references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Acute Care Hospital setting within a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Rotating weekends required approximately every 3-4 weeks.
• Patient ratios of approximately 8-9 to 1.
• Float between units required.
• Epic EMR used for charting.
• No on-call requirements.
• Work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment in acute care and adult rehabilitation settings.
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site.
• Scrub color is flexible across all units.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a lower bill rate.
• Previous Providence employees may return after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility.
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities as permanent, travel, or registry staff.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role.
