TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Normal, IL. The role is a full-time travel position with 40 hours per week, day shift, 8 hours per day. Requires 1 year of OT experience (6 months may be considered) and BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensure.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing plans of care, and documenting progress. Travel OT work in acute care settings with emphasis on daily living skill development and

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Basic life support (BLS) required and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensure.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care.
• Perform assessments to identify goals and activities.
• Educate family and employer on care requirements and accommodations.
• Document progress per guidelines and for billing.
