Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient travel assignment at a community hospital. The OT will participate in an interdisciplinary team, planning and performing treatment segments to restore functional abilities during a day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

The position requires an OT degree (Masters or OTD), state licensure, and CPR/BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include two years of OT experience.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD); licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferred Qualifications: Two years of occupational therapy experience.
• Essential Functions: Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas requiring attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans. Provides therapy interventions following established protocols. Develops individualized care and discharge plans, ensuring clear communication to relevant parties. Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines. Supervises assigned assistants and performs other related duties as assigned.
