Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Wenatchee, Washington. Work 40 hours per week, 9-hour days, providing rehab services to referred patients and developing treatment plans under physician orders.

This travel role includes weekly pay, housing options, health and life insurance, travel reimbursement, and credentialing support. You must be a graduate, hold a Master's in OT, pass NBCOT, have CPR, and possess or be pursuing state

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Must hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and have passed the NBCOT exam.
• Minimum one year of professional experience.
• Current state license as an OT or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients to determine rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with patient-specific goals.
• Develop plan of care for each OT patient and provide skilled OT services.
• Assess needs, plan and modify care to reach goals of OT interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to evaluate team goals for each patient.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Occupational Therapist / OT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Also, the Occupational Therapist / OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance
• Develops a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
