The assignment offers the opportunity to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.Job Details:Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, rotating to include weekends, with shifts from 07:30AM to 06:00PM or 07:30AM to 04:00PMRequired Qualifications: OT Certification applicable for the state of Alaska, Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, current licensure, and at least 1 year of acute care experience.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient acute care settings, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.Float: Float rotation may be required.Additional Information: Candidates must have Alaska state fingerprint and background clearance or be in provisional status to start. The unit has 175 beds with a staff of 60 therapy providers including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, PTAs, and COTAs. EMR system used is EPIC. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
