Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position located in an outpatient setting. This assignment involves providing therapy services to neuro/orthopedic patients and medically complex individuals in a highly regarded facility. The duration is approximately 15 weeks, beginning in late October, with a schedule of four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts per week, primarily during daytime hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Alaska Physical Therapy License, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 1 year of outpatient therapy experience, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in the specialty
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro and orthopedic patient populations, proficiency in electronic charting using Epic, and outpatient therapy experience in a hospital setting
• Float: Not applicable
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment includes caring for outpatient neuro/ortho and complex patients
  • Must work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)
  • Candidates must be available to start on 10/26/2026, with the assignment concluding by 02/08/2027
  • Candidates must be at least 50 miles outside the location area
  • References required: Two references within the last three years, covering at least 6 months of the experience
  • No direct outreach to facility contacts unless for scheduled interviews
  • Candidates must respond to a query regarding prior work at similar facilities in the submission
