Job summary

Critical Connection, inc is seeking a Hand Therapist to join our team on a travel basis in Clancy, Montana. This role focuses on evaluation and treatment of the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity within outpatient settings.

The candidate should have OT licensure in the state and ideally a CHT certification, with 1–2 years of hand therapy experience. Travel or local options are available, with a 40-hour week and 8-hour daily shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of practice.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred or eligible for certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hand therapy or outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Strong knowledge of upper extremity anatomy, biomechanics, and rehab techniques.
• Experience with splint fabrication highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat upper extremity conditions including post-surgical cases, fractures, tendon/nerve injuries, chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on referrals and findings.
• Fabricate and fit custom orthoses/splints for various diagnoses.
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to improve function and reduce pain.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation per standards.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and a passion for helping patients regain function, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
