TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a position in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

As an OT you will be responsible for the evaluation and development of a plan of care for a variety of patients needing to improve, regain and develop skills needed for daily life. You will work with disabled, ill or injured patient populations in the acute care setting.
Tasks
- Review patients' medical history, ask the patients questions, and observe them doing tasks.
- Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
- Develop a treatment plan for patients, identifying specific goals and the types of activities that will be used to help the patient work toward those goals.
- Help people with various disabilities perform different tasks.
- Evaluate a patient's home or workplace and identify potential improvements based on the patient's health needs.
- Educate a patient's family and employer about how to accommodate and care for the patient.
- Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on how to use it.
- Assess and record patient's activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Benefits & Compensation
- Pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
- Opportunity to work on a 13‑week travel assignment in an acute care setting.
