Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Athens, Tennessee is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment. The OT will work 40 hours per week, days shift, and travel staffing will be provided.

Immediate opening with requirements including 6 months of OT experience, BLS, NBCOT-OTR, and state licensing. The role includes patient evaluation, treatment planning, education for families and employers, and precise documentation according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; new grads may apply with appropriate background.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing required.
• OTs should stand/walk long periods and possess knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, assess activities, and observe performing tasks.
• Evaluate condition and needs; develop a treatment plan with goals.
• Assist patients with tasks and adapt home/work environments.
• Educate family and employer on accommodations and care.
• Document progress per state/insurance guidelines.
• Provide timely documentation for physicians and billing.
