Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Republic, Washington. The role runs 13 weeks, entails 40 hours per week, with dayshift hours and a travel employment setup.

You will evaluate and develop plans of care for patients needing to improve daily living skills, typically in an acute care setting, while collaborating with healthcare teams. State licensure and NBCOT-OTR are required.

Qualifications

• OT must have 6 months of experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR licensing required.
• Must hold state licensure for Washington.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history, interview patients, and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Assist patients with various disabilities to perform tasks.
• Assess home or workplace for adaptations.
• Educate family and employer on accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and instruct use.
• Record progress for evaluations and billing.
