Job summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Tacoma, Washington. The role requires evaluating patients, developing plans of care, and supporting daily living activities in an acute care setting.

Candidates should have NBCOT-OTR, BLS, and state licensure, with at least 6 months of experience (exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered). The position runs 13 weeks at 35 hours/week, with 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, observe tasks, and evaluate patient condition.
• Develop a treatment plan with goals and activities to improve daily living skills.
• Assess home or workplace for potential improvements and educate family and employer on accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and instruct patients on its use; document progress for evaluations and billing.
